JARKKO KELA

Jarkko Kela is a Helsinki-based freelance sound designer, sound engineer and musician. Jarkko has widely collaborated with artists from different fields of art - filmmakers, visual artists, dancers. He is currently finishing his Master´s degree in Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, majoring in film sound design. In addition, Jarkko has studied music technology.

Jarkko is also active in playing and composing music. Guitar and varying set of electronics and synths are his main instruments. His musical activity ranges from electro-acoustic experimentations to a more traditional songwriting. Jarkko is also a member of Välirivi association organising annual SOLA festival in Helsinki focusing on experimental music and cinema.
